That is a stunning dish. Its also right up my street. We don't get that fish here but obviously other fish could be used.
It’s supposed to be a “coral trout” but they are $50 per kilogram. That “redfish” was $12 per kilogram.

Any large whole fish is suitable.
 
Last night I had a Chinese beef soup with fresh hand made noodles & extra veg (bok choy) and after tasting I asked for more spice so the chef gave me a container of the chilli paste he uses for the spicy broth. Which is what I should have ordered on the first place.

Great food and service considering this was at the food court of a shopping centre.

I didn’t take a photo, but I made a couple of blade steaks in the slow cooker, and threw together a simple mango salad with peanut sauce to go with.

Steaks weren’t as flavorful as I’d like, so the strongly-flavoured salad kinda overpowered them, but it was still pretty good.
 
Same again as last night

Afghan carrots, Swiss chard & black beans and the aubergine dish, Imam Biyaldi. Just as tasty.
