You just sparked a memory of my youth and my nana. She used to love bananas on toast. BUT she sprinkled sugar over top of it. She said it helped indigestion? I suspect it was just a sweet tooth???
I wouldn’t say it was better but it’s not the same, this one contains grated onion and apple which is a different flavour to ours. It’s also a much much finer grind so it moulds well into shapes (like for a sausage roll).Is it really better than our own black pudding in the UK? I have eaten boudin noir (and blanc) in France but not sure its that much better than our own - maybe in France there are more varieties though, depending on the region.
Apple is very good with black pudding. I've also tried that wine and I'm not keen.
