I gotta' ask... what is mock duck?

CD
A plant based meat replacement that is about the only meat replacement I like! We use it to add protein to a dish.

Vegan Roast Duck - PlantAsia

The same company do a roasted chicken and a roast pork. I don't like the chicken, the pork was ok as an occasional change, but then our supermarkets stopped stocking it, so we only have the duck as an option.

Oddly, in typical manufacturer style, there are 3.6 servings in that container. :scratchhead:

I really need to find some where that stocks soy curls. Hubby doesn't really like TVP in any form (despite him eating it for decades! ) and we haven't been able to obtain Yuba locally.

Tromboncino parmigiana - made by my 87 year old boss and sent in with her son who is our GM. She taped the container closed and wrote “ FOR BELINDA” on it 😂 because he’s known for eating anything that’s not labeled.

Absolutely delicious. Layers of tromboncino coins that have been fried off, with chopped boiled egg, diced salami & sugo. Plus all the cheese.

Dinners.

We have been freezer diving - found a tub of lamb & quince stew from about a year ago. I added peas and served with roast potato last night

Theres a "spicy pork stew" - I tasted it this morning - it has TexMex vibes so we can have that tonight with a dollop of yogurt & some corn chips.
