What did you cook or eat today (November 2021)?

I didn't have dinner last night. I wasn't hungry so I just had some ice cream.
So I'm hungry at lunch time so a sammy filled the gap.
Pastrami with tomato relish, smokey cheese, tomato and red onion, from our garden. Lots of pepper. Very good.

I bought some fantastic fresh red grouper today. The filet was nearly 2 pounds. I cut up some of the end pieces into chunks, dredged them in a lemon-pepper flour coating, then in an egg and buttermilk wash, final coating with panko bread crumbs. Fantastic!

The rest of it I will top with crabmeat mixture tomorrow night and bake.
I'm making the seafood topping: I decided to use prawns, sea scallop chunks, and lobster claw meat with cracker crumbs, cream cheese, butter, shallot, roasted garlic, diced bell pepper, lemon, and herbs for the topping. I'll chop up and sear the shrimp and scallop (the lobster is already cooked)..

Look at that grouper! That's probably 1.25 lbs. Fresh and sweet, one of my favorite fishes.
