What did you cook or eat today (November 2021)?

I spent much of the morning preparing the filling for spring roll samosas.


My wife spent 20 minutes inserting the filling into Phyllo pastry.


Then I tried cooking them in the air fryer.........


I won't be bothering again. Back to deep frying the rest (as I've always done in the past). The grass is red oak.

Come back to my kitchen. I made hard-boiled eggs with salmon in puff pastry crust.
And added a dash of mustard 😋

Hmmmm. Red oak is a common tree in North Texas. :scratchhead:

Just a throw it together one dish meal.
Chicken thighs, potato, onion, honey, garlic, mustard, lemon juice mixed veg and mange-tout.

Hey! Snow Peas! There are members at CB that loathe them. I like them. They turn a nice crispy green that is great raw or cooked as a side or in a stew or soup.
