Because we were at the cinema on Saturday afternoon, and had food there, our usual Saturday night was on Sunday instead
(Saturday evening was cake & an orange. At the cinema we had deep fried Chilli brussel sprouts (delicious), Chips - too much salt even for hubby, and battered deep fried cauliflower.)

 
And today's lunch is back on the healthy track...

hubby's

& mine

consisting of lettuce, red cabbage, a native leaf I grow on the garden (warrangal greens), wild rocket, cucumber, tomato, spring onions, red pepper, dill, aubergine, sprouted Chickpeas, peas & brown lentils, hummus, smoked honey & soy sauce tofu, mint, jasmine flowers, snowpeas and carrot... it was topped off with a very tasty salad topper called "pimpmysalad" & this was their themp parmesan version.

do you make your own?
No, I don't have a deep fryer. It's not worth having one for two people I think, the fryer oil is really expensive and we both hate cleaning them. So I buy these from the bakery who have a special truck for frying them at this time of year.
We only have an air fryer.
