I was going to shoot us an Indian takeaway. $20 delivery fee.
Wife said we arent paying that.!
So we had makkas. I went. Meal was 1/3 cost of the curries.
I wanted to celebrate as our mortgage was paid off yesterday. We had a small loan to do some work around here a few years ago.
I had a big mac and her a whole meal crispy chicken wrap. And a mcflurry for her.

My OH is away from home at the moment.

He loves finding new vegan places to eat in in Melbourne (well any city he goes to but he's in Melbourne at the moment).

He can't tell me what it was exactly, but said spring rolls and a tofu mushroom rice dish. Ignore the names on the menu, there are a range of restaurants in Australia that call things as they 'were' despite everything being totally vegan. This place was run by Buddhist monks.

I had the salad for lunch. It's mostly lettuce leaves holding up the veg. The mushrooms were airfried without oil, so look a little "unfresh", but were actually really succulent and tasty.

I'd never have guessed. That looks right up my street. Recipe??

She made her standard chili. Heated it up in the pan for about 20 minutes. Then made a jiffy box of cornbread. Poured it over the top of the chili and cooked it until it was done. We topped it with cheese, greek yogurt, onions and pickled jalapenos.
