What did you cook or eat today (October 2020)?

Yesterday was not a good day. My usual noodle stall is closed permanently, substitute noodle stall was closed and Hainanese chicken rice stall was closed. How they ever make money, I don't know.

Anyway the solution was a last minute chilli burger.

Son has a big meeting at his work so he rang. I'm watching mr6 and miss11. Said they havnt had lunch, so off to the bakery. I had a Cornish pastie, miss 11 a steak n pepper Poe and lolly cake. Mr6 a ham sammich and a chocolate donut. He said it was quite chocolatey, lmao.
$25. Get home and daughter calls in with two boys and they are having a break in hanmer 1 1/2 hrs away. She mentioned they are getting sushi in Amberley which is half way. Told her to take $25 on the bench and a said I shouting them lunch. Cost me $50 and it's only 1pm.

Saturday night, Shrimp Burger patty's bought from Gastro ribarnice, Langoustine /skampi na buzaru, potato salad with bob (broad beans), desert was Austrian style apple strudel. The filling was Ashkenaz style, apple, sultanas, chopped walnuts and lots of cinnamon. Because of recent event I did not wish for Mrs Blank to hand pull the strudel leaf so I knocked up some rough puff. The Langoustines were medium size about £9 a kg

We're OK. My husband has returned to normal and is going back to work ( at home) today. I have a little cold but nothing bad.

And the ulcer has healed on it's own!
 
Two grandkids here for the night, wanted makkas. Mr 6 wanted a quarter pounder, one bite and he's done. I'm not happy. Miss11 ordered chicken mc cheese meal. All gone. I got a kiwi burger meal. Very yummy. Wife had left over salads.

I do vege meals as we'll. Btw kiwis pop up al over the world, apparently were the most travelled people in the world.??
