A Sticky Toffee Pudding has just landed on my table 😍

If it is British, and you don't know what it is, just call it "a pudding." :D

CD
It’s a beef pie with gravy (it tasted wonderfully), mash, carrots and peas, all washed down by a beer and waiting for my sticky coffee pudding afterwards 😊
That's also known as Crusty Meat Pudding With Runny Brown Pudding, Pudding Mash, Orange-And-Green Pudding and Sticky Toffee Pudding for pudding. 😬

I was not happy with the broccoli. It's dressed in a garlic-paprika vinaigrette, and the recipe called for sherry vinegar, which I don't have, so I consulted the internet and it recommended rice vinegar as the closest substitute.

Nope. Made my Italianish broccoli taste very Asianish. Didn't work at all with the rest of the meal. Bad internet! 😠

That chicken looks ah-maaaaazing. Sorry about your broccoli. Yeah, I am pretty picky about my broccoli too. I can't wrap my head around the vinegar...sherry or no.

Thanks! Other than the broccoli, it was really good. I think chicken parm has the highest ratio of ease:dirty dishes as anything I make. Usually, when something is easy, it doesn't require a lot of pans and such to make it, but this makes a mess.

You inspired to make it soon. Prolly next week.

Do you make your Hollandaise from scratch? I cheat often and use packets, LOL. That's a lovely piece of salmon!
Usually I do but I was squeezed for time today and my local butcher does a really good ready made one in a jar so I used that. To be honest I can't really say there is much difference.
