£50 pp without wine! I hope you really enjoyed it because they are seriously overcharging - that's up there with London Michelin star tasting menu prices. Quady Elysium Muscat retails for around $22 per bottle. These people are charging £82.50/bottle. Please tell me it was fantastic!

Sublime

I've had 3 course Michelin star lunch for £25 per head (Birmingham, Purnell's) - Glen Purnell. That was a few years back. It ended up as about six courses because of all the surprise 'amuse bouche' which arrived between courses. One of the most excellent meals I've had. Glen was on show busy cooking in the kitchen which had a viewing window.

One thing on my "bucket list" is to dine at the French Laundry, in Napa Valley -- owner and Executive Chef Thomas Keller.

Unappealing photo, but we ate before I got a snap of it in the bowls:

Maybe tomorrow, as we're having this for leftovers.

Just a big bowl of chunky brown liquid, but it was very flavorful. Broth was beef stock, wine, Worcester sauce, red wine vinegar, and just a bit of hot sauce (my addition).

Gruyere and croutons ??

Stromboli with onions, red bells, garlic slices, pepperoni, Italian sausage, moz, provolone and Parm R. Craig slathered the 1 on his plate with marinara and saying it looked like a hot mess is an understatement, so the picture is 1 on the baking sheet.

My Calzone is ricotta, moz, Parm R and spinach.
