What did you cook or eat today (October 2022)?

Lunch was grilled sardines with potatoes and green beans

After spending the morning making salsa (well not all of the morning but...), I was planning on cooking a beef stew. However, a mate came around and we had a few beers and the stew was put on hold.

Beef ravioli, from a tin.

 
Thank you! But no I didn't, I'm worthless with anything involving sewing :laugh:

Here's what's funny ... my maternal great grandmother, grandmother and mother where professional seamstresses :laugh: They all did/do all manner of needle work ... knitting, crocheting, needle point, cross stich, etc... not me!

I don't know if this is general with the US or not, but my American coworkers find it really weird/disgusting to have food with eyes (like whole fish, or whole shrimp).

It is not a common thing in the US to leave the heads on food, which would mostly be fish and shrimp.
