After spending the morning making salsa (well not all of the morning but...), I was planning on cooking a beef stew. However, a mate came around and we had a few beers and the stew was put on hold.

That's like my grandma, shes hardcore, she can eat sardines right out of the can without flinching.

Here's what's funny ... my maternal great grandmother, grandmother and mother where professional seamstresses
They all did/do all manner of needle work ... knitting, crocheting, needle point, cross stich, etc... not me!I don't know if this is general with the US or not, but my American coworkers find it really weird/disgusting to have food with eyes (like whole fish, or whole shrimp).Your lunch is looking at us. Not sure how I feel about that.

It is not a common thing in the US to leave the heads on food, which would mostly be fish and shrimp.
