Good morning Cooking Bites members and lurkers. I had two sunny-side up eggs with bacon and hash brown potatoes splashed with cayenne pepper sauce for breakfast this morning. You can't beat that for starting the day after drinking your coffee.

Looks like everyone is having the chicken today.

I made Honey Hen, along with some Lyonnaise rice dish, adapted to my rice cooker, since I hadn't put that away yet. Came out a little sticky, but I didn't have the "right" rice, but it's really good otherwise. Made with chicken stock and white wine.

I had a big lunch at the Houston airport. It was at that Cadillac Mexican Kitchen that I like. My favorite Mexican dish, cheese and onion enchiladas. They were awesome. Refried beans (pinto) and rice on the side.

Here is a picture -- partially eaten. I always forget to take a picture before I start eating.

I use flax seeds to make hair gel & I use flaxseed oil as a hair treatment.

I avoid commercial hair products for the most part - specifically regarding sulfates, silicones & alcohol as they ruin my curls.
Oh that is cool!
Hair gel as hair conditioner or gel to keep the hairdo strong?
Avocado oil is what I use for untangling from time to time.
But I am still not off commercial hair products...
For body scrub I do use coconut oil and sugar mixture, it is fantastic.

School is on and a hundred other things, so I might be unintentionally skipping a day or two.
Pork chops(neck part), a passable and an improved version.

Monday the meat was slightly undercooked, it was finished and edible but somewhat hard chewy. Cooktime 15 min. Polenta and rice flour side, absolutely lovely side.

Tuesday I had left the meat in the marinade (soy sauce and fresh lemon juice, sprinkled of thyme) overnight, and cooked it for about 50 55 min in a dilluted fresh soy sauce water liquid. It was really good then. Rice with butter👍.
