Fried pork chop sandwich. Think of it as a chicken sandwich, but with a pork loin chop, pounded thin, breaded and shallow fried.

CD
Yeah, in some parts of the country it's known as an Iowa State Fair pork sandwich. Yes it's still an Iowa sandwich even if cooked and eaten in Ohio

No seriously I'm sure yours is different, probably seasoned differently and bigger (everything is bigger in Texas, right). In Iowa it's often made with pork tenderloin and butterflied.

The other white meat!

The one I make is basically the same as the Iowa State Fair sandwich.

Mine too. Never even heard of it until vacationing in Mexico. No we didn't eat one in Mexico lol. We met people from Iowa and New Jersey who are friends and vacationed together yearly, and the Iowa people told us how great they are. The New Jersey people confirmed it.

rascal: it's eaten with mayonnaise or mustard or both, lol with maybe some lettuce. I don't see apple sauce in my crystal ball as a possibility, lol!

My late mum used to say " you keep pushing the boat out russell"

See I would include it. I make a thick apple sauce, really chunky.

Russ
I make chunky applesauce.
When I took Mom to her Bank last week, there's a HUGE apple tree out front that's just loaded! I asked if I could pick some, they said yes!

i see a car and lawn tools in the photo. I think of a finished garage as one that has been closed in and turned into a room. :scratchhead:

CD
I think of a finished garage as one that is dry walled, painted and enclosed with a retracting garage door ... never had this Hawaii, just a carport all nasty like. This is real nice, we keep it keep and tidy. Folks will pass by and comment on how nice or garage is. We also put a coating on the floor of the garage to help keep it nice, rather than ugly ole cement.
