I'm making these soon. And any tips on folding wrappers please .

Mine were pork, shiitake mushrooms, water chestnuts and bamboo shoots. Way light on the meat. Seasoning was xaioshing wine, white pepper soy sauce and oyster sauce.
I cooked a tiny piece to make sure I had seasoning right.

Why does everyone's camera always look better than mine? Even when I get a phone upgrade, everyone else's still look better.

It is the light source. It looks like you are using the overhead lights in your kitchen (or something similar) to light your food. Most people getting the nicer photos are using natural window light from the side or rear. That light is softer and has a more pleasant color temperature.

Well tonight.
this is Taiwan’s contribution to the world of meatballs. It’s a super tender pork meatball braised in a bed of Napa cabbage.

it’s called. “Lion Head” Meatballs. I made it to eat as a leftover but figured eating one wouldn’t be a bad idea.

I grilled/BBQ'd some B/S Teriyaki marinated Chicken Thighs (diced so that the diner THINKS they're getting more than they really are :rolleyes:), My Quick Cucumber Kim Chee (or kimchi, whatever) and the ever present steamed White Rice topped with Shoyu (Soy Sauce) and Furikake... one of our favorite meals.

Sunday lunch picnic. Rice cakes, hummus, tofu, vegan smoke gouda, then strawberries, coffee and an orange...




Our visitor clearly knew how to steal and made repeated attempts to get into the cool bag. The picture of a strawberry on the empty carton attracting it.

No pics, but more fridge-clearing, so I sautéed and entire container of mushrooms with an entire bag of spinach, and that’s for MrsT, and I steamed a half head of cauliflower and some broccoli for me.
