What did you cook or eat today (September 2023)?

I had frozen dinner last night. Only ate half.
 
This is a mouth full. I made peanut butter, chocolate chip, oatmeal cookies. These are so good, I can already hear myself getting fatter.

No time to cook a decent meal as I was late home from pub. Pan fried 8 sizzlers wrapped in bread and topped with mustard and ketchup. Cheap quick meal kind of??
Sizzlers are processed meat with cheese in them. Wife had 2 I had 3. Rest will be eaten cold. They are yummy.

This sounds like "pigs in a blanket".
 
So it's our d.i.l birthday this Sunday and her request is
Chicken croquettes ( need to make tomorrow)
Fillet mignon with shroom sauce and dauphinoise potatoes. Asparagus if shop has them. Should be there as we have 2 long shoots in our garden.
Choc mousse dessert.
