Had a ready meal. Wouldn’t normally bother especially as the few wheat free options you can get are the pits but I saw this and thought well if I’m cooking all day I won’t want to stop to make myself lunch, even ate it straight out of the carton like the trash I am 😂

It’s very mild but I enjoyed it. I’d actually buy it again!

Made the Beef Bourguignon. Roasted some chantenay carrots to add to the casserole/stew and cooked the garlic mushrooms separately to add later just to make Julia Child proud 😂

I also roasted some baby potatoes with mixed herbs, pommery whole grain mustard and smoked salt.
I find potatoes done this way are just about ok reheated.

Am going to attempt something different though - Rather than lose their flavour in with the Bourguignon I’m going to vacuum seal them separately and place them in the instant pot with the stew.
They will hopefully sort of sous vide/slow heat in the bourguignons liquid but can be pulled out and served on the side with their full flavour.
My feeling is it might not work but then again why not?!

Tovala meals. Craig had Italian sausages with roasted sweet peppers and potatoes with a side of marinara. No picture.

I had 4 cheese risotto, with crispy onions, and a side of roasted Brussel sprouts dressed with a champagne vinaigrette. I made 2 mini loaves with garlic oil, but could only eat half of mine.

For my Mother.
She said that she really likes Indian Food but doesn't know what to order, because she would always go with a Gal Pal who knew what was what. I'm no expert, but I'm certain she'll really like this.

I'll freeze both of these meals for her, along with the Stuffed Shells I made the other day.
