Hormel Italian beef roast over egg noodles, with peas and carrots. The roast was okay. Would I buy it again at full price? Nope. Maybe on sale though if deeply discounted.

I use a plastic placemat 
when ever we have anything served with a dish of Soy Sauce for dipping.

Picked up some lovely fresh artichokes at the supermarket, so I made an artichoke and bacon quiche with some leftover puff pastry. I also found Brussels sprouts ( they're a bit of a rarity here) so they went along for the ride as well.

A quiche is on my cooking plan for lunch today, too, with leek...
Sausage stuffed tortellini with Alfredo sauce with some fresh thyme and a touch of smoked gruyere at the end to bump it up. Served with fresh homemade ciabatta bread.
This is my best Alfredo to date. You could drink this it's so good.

I genuinely don't understand this. No man (or woman for that matter) has ever looked blankly at me if I asked them something about cooking. Well, that is, until Steve developed dementia. He now looks blankly at me at almost anything I ask!

I dont really understand it, but it happens to me. Or I might get a response rhat doesn't sound accurate. And one of my daughters doesn't cook so if I were to ask her something I'd get a raised eyebrow and a laugh. So not a blank look but not a response exactly, either.
