Just tra and hot choc today, pubic holiday here. It's Monday here.
We had a $100 voucher for Indian at corianders, there's a few of them in town.
Lamb cutlets and malai kofta for wife
King prawn on tandoor. Butter chicken, garlic naan and drinks. I had wombat hill merlot, very pleasant.
Leftovers for butcher. (2 meals)

We didn't go to grocery until late and then ended up eating lunch at 2, so weren't really hungry. I had a few chips and then made s'mores with saltines instead of graham crackers.

I had eggrolls, pork fried rice, and orange chicken from our local Chinese takeout restaurant. Man it was good!

Last night dinner. Was inspired by Mrs Miggins Elizabethan tome, "How to crimp with your false teeth" . This is my version of Ye Olde minced Swan pie with skirret. I substituted minced veal and peas. I know peas had not been invented then, but please grant me some latitude. Also I found the Christmas cutters to give it an ye olde worlde feele.

I have to say that we have cooked and eaten various different foods from all over the world. But for me very few equal a well constructed meat pie with proper gravy.

I just went out for my coffee on the balcony. A pod of dolphin came close to the shore chasing fish. This is the best my camera phone can do

Regularly. The Island in the background is Brac. I have never seen a whale but this was taken about 20/30 klm away in the same stretch of sea.We are between Split and Omis.

Amazing! That is such a beautiful stretch.

MY WIFE COOKED today, she said I'm making a stew, BUT you need to do the rest. It's her late mums recipe and it was 10/10
I did sides mashed potatoes and mashed carrot n parsnip, 4 out of 5 had seconds, I didn't.
