What did you eat or cook today (December 2024)?

MrsT specifically requested a fried bologna sandwich, just mustard, which is the only way I ever ate them.

I don't eat them often anymore. When I do a fried bologna sandwich, I apply a fried egg, mustard, and cheese. Preferably pepper jack cheese!

Bami goreng with sweet & sour chicken ( prawns for my husband) at the Asian superstore.

I actually ordered curry but didn't want to get back in line. This was fine too.

Brother in law came over yesterday and took all our leftovers. He isn’t much of a cook. Lives with his dad who is an awful cook. He was happy to have real food to eat. So wife and I ordered pizzas last night. Both fighting head colds. Having the rest of the pizza tonight for dinner

Cavatelli in a bacon and butter based soubise sauce. There's a little too much sauce, but I was using up a partial bag of pasta, so...

Turned into a tasty soup but I still don't know what it is

Earlier Mr SSOAP made me a very good turkey sandwich with Persian cucumber and homemade garlic mayo

And we’ve just ordered Indian takeaway.
Looking forward to it. Haven’t had one in donkeys years.

Before anyone chimes in, I don’t care what parts of it are ‘authentic’
This takeaway does a mighty fine job of it’s fusion fare and I can’t wait!!
