Not a flower or flower bud.Is it a dried flower bud? I am seeing something I vaguely recognize but I can't quite pinpoint it
Hint: dried is correct.

To be honest - I´ve got absolutely no idea whatsoever!
Pandan Leaves/roots
Is it dried kaffir lime? Now I have never even seen one, but I have read in this forum where other people have used them. I have no idea what one looks like, so...
My great memory does serve me well at times. I suppose I could try to find them at one of the small Asian grocers around here. They might have some frozen? I'd like to give it a whirl.I'll give you that. Its dried kaffir lime peel. The leaves are more commonly used I think. And if you never had fresh kaffir lime leaves then (oh!) you will have a treat if you can get them. Such perfume! Dried leaves don't really work for me but the dried peel is also intensely perfumed.

I've never seen the leaves or fruit here in Cowboyville Arizona, but I will see if maybe this really fancy grocery store in The Big City has any ...
