No, not that type. I have never heard of that before, BTW, even though they probably can be found at some specialty shop in the US. Not a fan of anise, either...keep guessing!

Edited to add that it's nothing fussy and quite simple, actually.

It is a cracker and no it's not homemade, it's just not a Spanish breakfast cracker with aniseed and it's not sweet at all. It's a stoneground whole wheat cracker. It's close enough, Windigo guessed cracker but she said she doesn't have any photos to post, so whoever wants to post one next...
