A couple of friends are in Thailand, they have travelled quite a bit over the years but this is the 1st holiday where they have stayed at a fancy hotel and they are loving it, their pictures and big happy smiles make me smile to know they are having such a good time.

I've shot duck and dressed it and ate it. The pellets put me off. Although it looks delicious in chinese window cooked head and all. Still not tempted.

That's why I liked to make duck gumbo with the ducks I hunted. Over the long cook, with some stirring, the pellets sank to the bottom of the pot.
