Someone I know shared this on Facebook, according to an informal survey done on Facebook's comment box, Gold Strike is a common offender. Me, I really wouldn't know the answer, the time I almost died I was mixing drinks, can't remember what I drank only that it was a lot

That would be Tequila for me… many years ago “ oh, these tequila sunrise drinks are so good - let’s have some more and a couple shots of tequila !!!”.. fast forward to today and I can’t stand the smell of tequila🙃😂

Don't understand it...
Flatware is also called cutlery. However, since you cut with a knife, whomever made this applied the term cutlery to the knife, and therefore created other terms for the other utensils. Since you stab things with your fork...stablery (piercelery would also have been acceptable), and since a spoon can scoop things...scooplery.

Oh - I see now. We don't call it flatware in the UK, BTW.

Funny aside, I used to say "silverware" instead of flatware, until some smartazz corrected me once by pointing out, "...but that's stainless steel...," so I said "tableware" for awhile until another smartazz pointed out that other items, like plates and glasses, are also tableware.

That's when I switched to flatware!
