My best camping critter story was when we were all sitting around the campfire, at the state park just down the road from here, and a raccoon wandered into the campsite, and amongst all the coolers of beer and meat and side dishes, he headed right for the one full of chocolate and candy bars.

As I was getting the choc cake ready for baking, my daughter helped by melting the choc,then she enjoyed the remains of melted choc and some batter, then she smiled. I bet she knew. Her teeth in the grin were almost fully brown, with occasional light brown. I burst out laughing, it was one of those classic kid moments.
It makes me smile even now.
