What produce/ingredients did you buy or obtain today (2024)?

…and no buying this brand again - one of the sweeteners is artificial. Pickles have that strange “diet food” aftertaste that artificial sweeteners bring.
 
I managed to find dried prawns for a somewhat reasonable price.
I'm happy.

Nothing much interesting otherwise, mielie meal, curry powder, apples, bread, flour, salami and liver paté
I'd forgotten all about dried prawns. My daughter loved to eat them neat from the jar when she was a kid. What are you using them for?

Had to run into Kroger to get a box of Brita filters, which of course meant I had to get that other stuff as well. :laugh:

Just don't mention the price. It's (almost) cheaper to buy my handmade vegan Belgian chocolates from tassie and pay express shipping, but I needed to place an order with a company and didn't see the point in paying $34 delivery so treated myself.
