I’ve only read the news headlines in an email for the last few days, clicking on any of them looked like it it wouldn’t bring any happiness so I’ve read no further.
Not buying anything in the next few days, unless I run out of beer. The fridge/freezer is so stacked, I had to consult google maps to find the ketchup.
Wow, that many eggs, even organic, are nearly $4 less than that here.

$4.57/dozen here. I'm either getting them farm fresh for $4/dozen or they're coming in a 1 qt. carton...

That’s probably only the fourth or fifth whole chicken I’ve bought in my life. I got it in my head to roast a chicken Pepin-style (cast iron skillet, turning it a few times during the roasting), which led me down a path of watching 177 videos on roasting chickens…so now I’m roasting a chicken.
The last time I roasted one was using Ina Garten’s famous date-night/engagement chicken. This time, I’m going to use Darren McGrady’s recipe (“Just two ingredients…and one of ‘em’s chicken!”).

That’s entertaining. It’s the bacon in Spain that tastes closest to British bacon. It’s a bit cheaper there.
It would take four and half of these for the equivalent weight though.
