Umm, isn't one a whisk? Not really great for eggwashes, and such. I guess you can get creative with it, though.

We use those silicone brushes mostly for applying sauces to grilled or bbq'd meats and veggies. On the ends of longer handles, though, if you prefer not to small burnt hand and wrist hair.

We use it/them generally for applying oil to, amongst other things, roast potatoes and milk to bread.
 
These are they now. I don't think that the orange one has ever been used. The nylon brush was the one that we used before.
