They're his fruit pastels. So white chocolate with a (real) fruit flavouring. They are wonderful and he always gives us plenty of them because he knows we love them.

He's from Belgium originally. Trained there as a chocolatier before moving to Tasmania. We found him my accident buying his chocolates through a Tasmanian company but the mark up on the chocolates was eye watering. After that I tracked him down and rang him, talked with him about what we wanted and now just ring him when I want some.

He makes all of them by hand, then individually wraps each chocolate so it will survive the postal system and an air flight.

May start on our Christmas cards this weekend, we don't send many but it will give plenty of time to buy more if we need to.
