Cryptic food and drink

? but I don't know why
apricot

Correct! The last few clues have been hidden words. There will be an indicator in the clue that you are looking for a hidden word. In this case the indicator is 'to discover'. Fruit is the definition
Unwrap ricotta to discover fruit (7). The hidden word will always appearwith the letters in the correct order (not jumbled up as in an anagram).

And in the following clue, 'eats' indicates that a word is hidden and thus fruit is the definition. So you are looking for a hidden word meaning a fruit in 'crap lumberjack'. You simply ignore the rest of the letters.

Crap lumberjack eats fruit (4)

And in this one 'bears' indicates a hidden word thus 'fruit' is the definition. So you are looking for a word meaning a fruit hidden in 'Brexit anger in England'
Can you spot this one?

Brexit anger in England bears fruit! (9)

No idea about the angry brexit one!

I tried to compose one on my bike ride this afternoon. Hope it works!

Who's hidden my bit of marmite soldiers in the yummy Easter cake? 5 letters.

tangerine spotted in around 15 seconds in that one, given I knew what I was looking for so to speak

I didn't see the other one because I was using unwrap to mean an anagram... or hidden word rather than 'to discover'.

thank you. Answers with reason and clues are exceptionally useful still!
