How is the corona virus affecting you?

I've answered to no one for over 30 years, so I'll take the jab when and if I do. Might sound blasé but when I'm satisfied it won't effect me I will decide. I'm not frail or poorly, I'm pretty fit and according to my doc last week, in good health. I was getting my six monthly bp meds. He did a mini check up.

That is great news, you being in good health! Having a choice is very important.

It helps to live where very few people live. The population of the country of NZ is the same as the population of the Dallas Metropolitan Area, one city, and Dallas is the THIRD largest city in Texas. Here, it is not just about "ME." We need to have at least 70-percent take the shot, or the virus will continue to spread and mutate. A lot of Texans "answer to no one," and they may keep us from achieving herd immunity if they choose not to get the vaccine.

I'm glad you're well. I too am well, but I didn't get the vaccine for me, I got it for the health of 7.5 Billion friends.

Who thought this was a good idea right now?

Can you safely plan a music festival during Covid?
Thank you for posting the link.
I saw it just now. Not really sure what to say. My first reaction was: Terrifying...bit it reflects how Covid has changed our perception.

Normally I welcome new approaches, if it turns out to be a success, very good.

Mental health is a serious concern indeed. They seem to be happy, which is great.

The industry could get some revenue power. Probably very much needed.

Barely anyone had masks on...my information is that only fully vaccinated persons may do so. Or if one is not approaching people...but I don't know. If people are not virus carriers, is it safe?

Remember reading about a country asking for neg Covid test for a hairdresser's appointment...

It might be a thing of the near future, with self tests and such requirements...

Early in the pandemic, one was reading about how long the virus stays on different surfaces, plastic, metal...

How do you see this?

It's on the BBC news. All those attending were supposed to keep their masks on, but apparently it turns out that a mix of alcohol, a presumptive negative test and the invincibility of youth saw all precautions discarded - wow, what a surprise.

Yes, Bbc news it is, well, let us see what comes out of it. Personally, the lower the risk the better I feel.

We had informal youth gatherings in my city too, in front if the National Theater...with alcohol and loud music...lot of garbage left afterwards...nobody was really happy except them.

Miami Beach has announced a curfew beginning at 8 p.m. now because of all the trouble they have been having. There have been murders and shootings and out of control parties for about 3 weeks now. For a few days, it seemed like every time we watched the morning news Miami Beach had something happen the night before. Guess they finally had enough.

It's all about choice, right?

Our last lock down was caused by a family who had contact with a school that had a positive. Guess what the family never let on they had a boarder/ flat mate. Here's the kicker, he is a door to door salesman.
There's stupid and there's stupid.
