How is the corona virus affecting you?

I watch the crime channel a lot, there was a guy who had a car accident, head damage, wife said he started to change just after it. Went on to kill a mum dad and two kids. Left their bodies in the pool.
Oh but for the grace of God eh??

Watching CNN now, it's on about kidnapping. It's bigger than first thought. Wow.

Well, Trump is playing "blame the victim."

"Governor Whitmer of Michigan has done a terrible job. She locked down her state for everyone, except her husband's boating activities," he wrote, urging her in another tweet to "open up your state, open up your schools, and open up your churches!" Donald Trump, Thursday, October 8

It's being reported here that Nancy Pelosi is looking at invoking the 25th Amendment due to Trumps increasingly erratic behaviour. Even by his standards he is not making much sense.

I watched these highlights, I'm in my 70 th year. Having followed American politics from the day I saw my Mum and Dad crying when they returned from a restaurant to be told by my big brother Kennedy had been assassinated. These highlight must be deeply embarrassing for rational Americans. What has happened to the brilliant Democratic strategist who came over to assist the Labour party defeat the Tories. They were a revelation to me and the Party. Biden should be told to shut up and let Trump hang himself. Statesmen do not interrupt, silence is a very strong debating tool. Without interruption Trump would ramble like the fool he is.

It has no chance of succeeding. I'm not sure why she would want to do it. I hope it doesn't backfire.

I totally agree. I'm not sure what she hopes to gain with just weeks prior to the election, and I really don't think even she thinks it will succeed. The only thing I'm thinking is that this is meant to get under his skin and make him respond irrationally. Well...more irrationally than usual.

He's supposedly doing a rally tonight from the balcony of the White House, to a crowd on the South Lawn (I didn't think that political events were allowed at the White House). He's still on steroids. It will be interesting to hear what comes out of his mouth, especially as it relates to Covid-19. Will it still be "no big deal?"

Ooooops, I think the rally is actually supposed to be Saturday, not Friday.

Is that just regulation in Varese?

I thought it would have been enough to quarantine by staying at home, but for the new recent regulations it’s now mandatory for those who came back from some countries to do anti-covid test. I had to go to Varese Red Cross outdoor tent, wearing mask (of course), staying in my car as they took my temp, then doing me the swab.

Our country has now officially become the top scorer for infection rates on the European continent. We have had a week of daily 6000+ infections on a populace of 17 million. We're deep in the reds, and things aren't looking up much. I'm staying inside as much as possible.
The government is discussing a possible second lockdown after the weekend, which will mean another delay in the treatment of our very ill son, and also the possiblity that he will be here again for weeks on end without any distractions.
I'm really not happy with this at all, we're getting so little relief and he only needs more help by the day.
