Plans for today (2019-2022)

All our plans for a Chrimbo getaway have gone tits up. My Godson (the only person I take instruction from) wants us to self isolate as much as possible.
When we came here I gave away my collection of Alan Silverwood backing tins. This included 6 loose bottomed individual Pork Pie tins. My British ex pat friends here have requested that we make some. So I will search the internet.

Good for you! I already finished my arduous, backbreaking and exhausting daily exercise on the recumbent bicycle (duration: less than three minutes - as a defense I must add that at least the resistor/drag was at maximum level). If I'd have to do workout for more than five minutes, I'd probably be carried out in a coffin. I usually finish my physical piecework contract by taking several steps around the apartment in the Ministry of Silly Walks style (as my dear hubby calls my industrious and puffy leg-lifting workout).

Funny enough, I have the Ministry of Silly Walks T-shirt 😂 as a reminder which says “ mind you!” That’s so evocative

My plan for today (or better before today) should have been to renew the third party insurance on the motor (I've not gotten to the bottom of why the third party (compulsory) expires this month whereas the fully comprehensive expires next month). However, I forgot and the office closed at midday. That's the truck off the road until we can get it sorted on Monday.

Over here, that would be called "liability insurance," and it is required by law here, too. The nimrods who run into my cars never seem to have it. The last one did $16,000 damage to my Audi. My insurance had to pay for it. I did get his truck impounded by the police.

A similar thing happened to us when we lived in San Antonio.
