Just about to pick a lettuce, some radishes and spring onions from our garden for salad for dinner. Shops later for a few items. Cruisy day watching the horse racing.

Awww, I am so happy for you. We just pulled the remnants of our garden out. Actually, I should say, hubby did. My idea of gardening is planning what to put in it and taking what produce I need for dinner out of it. I don't plant, weed, or water anything, LOL.

Got nearly all the Christmas lights up, just one little bit left.

Now I have to figure out how I'm gonna plug all this sh!t in. 🤔
We haven't done a tree or decorations in years. Now that there is no chance of anyone coming over to see it, what's the point? I commend you on your holiday spirit. Mine is kinda "bah, humbug" this year :(

Wife the gardener, I propagate from seeds, she does the rest. Eating salads for three weeks. Picking peas and freezing for Xmas day. Summer here in two weeks, yay. :)

I put up 3 sets last week, 1 is 20 metres long with 6 choices of illuminations. I still need to figure where the other 20 metre is going. Nothing inside yet!

It's just 8 a.m. here, and I'm sitting up in bed (well, it is Sunday) drinking a mug of tea, listening to the rain pouring down outside and watching the news on the BBC. This morning will involve prepping for a late lunch, a short and probably very wet walk in the woods with the dogs, followed by a nice hot bath and the opening of a bottle of something cold and fizzy around midday. Early afternoon will bring lunch in the form of roast beef and Yorkshire puddings, after which a lazy afternoon in front of a roaring fire with the Sunday papers. I love Sunday's.

So poetic!
I’ve just put in the fridge the batter for Yorkshire Puddings and made gravy following your suggestion to add red wine
I love Sunday’s!

We're starting to get hoarding out here,,,,, again.
FIrst thing that flys off the groceries shelves are soups and stock/broths.
Then TP and paper towels.

The stores have defaulted back to limiting purchases.
I miss "fancy" food products. That means it's premium produce if "fancy" is marked on the container. Lots of flavor without a bunch of added sugar..
I'm the worst at picking ripe produce I have to rely on cans.

So just at the crack of dawn I'm heading out to see if I can find a few fancy items knowing well it isn't going to happen.

Tonight: Gumbo soup with fresh baked bread.

Sat around in my Jim Jams all morning. Unfortunately I have work this afternoon and tonight (13:15 to 21:00) so just about to get shaved, showered and changed.
