Plans for today (2019-2022)

Ugh! I got a new phone a couple of weeks ago, which was a right misery to get set up, and then last night, I noticed the screen it’s already cracked!

I have absolutely no idea how it happened, as I haven’t dropped the phone yet - haven’t had it long enough, and I’m irritated because I ordered a case for it two weeks ago, and the order status is still showing “pending production” - I guess I’m going to have to buy a case locally to use until my fancy case arrives. 😠

That’s my plan today - call up Verizon and file a claim, and figure out how that works. This happened once before and they actually came out to my house and fixed it on the spot, we’ll see if that still applies.

Well, the good news is, there’ll be out tomorrow to fix it, $29 deductible.

After all the years I've had an iPhone, I cracked my first screen two days before Christmas 2021-- and I did it right. That screen was shattered! The phone was unusable. I had to stand in line at the Mall to get a new phone two days before Christmas. :facepalm:

We started at 68F/20C this morning. Then a cold front came through. By mid afternoon it was in the 30s. It is now 30F/-1C.

We were supposed to get rain and thunderstorms with the front, but it came through dry. We needed that rain. We are in "Severe Drought" in my county.
