It's a Gal Pal day for me.
Four of us Neighborhood friends are going to lunch and then it's back here cards, wine and dessert. I made a No-Bake Meyer Lemon Cheesecake Mousse Parfait.

I´m just about to hop on a train to the centre of London. From there, I´m just going to walk. Don´t know where yet; just walk!

Plans for the rest of the day:

I have to be online for work at 10PM, for the sole purpose of joining a conference call to tell a bunch of people that I’ll be on later at 1AM (makes no sense to me, either).

Back online at 1AM, hopefully less than an hour…hopefully.

Back online at 2:30AM, hopefully less than an hour…hopefully.

How was your central London pub crawl (sorry), walk?

The Strand, Covent Garden, all the way up Charing Cross Road, along Oxford Street, down past Berkeley Square - and that was my one and only stop for a pint. I looked in several pubs, but there was never anywhere to sit down!!

We have to finish the demo on the guest bathroom today..The guy is coming tomorrow to start. The plan last week was to go at it for an hour a night this past week, but it never got done..so, we pay the piper today..

Today is maple syrup day and friends here in the county own a brewery and on the property is a sugar shack where people come in for tastings and can follow the trail to the maple forest and watch the goings on....a yearly thing. Much beer is consumed.

I like to go to IKEA just to wander around. I have one a few miles away, and most of the times I've gone there, I didn't buy anything. I've never eaten in the cafeteria at IKEA. I need to add that to my to-do someday list.

We went in to Decathalon, bought a new walking pole and 'comfortable' walking shoes.
In IKEA we found the wardrobes we want, just need to decide what configuration we want and decorate the room ready.
In their lounge area there was a colour on the wall that caught us both by surprise, a dark colour that normally neither of us would even consider but actually seeing it on a wall made us both stop and think about our lounge colour when we redecorate.

Today, my DH & I are going over to my Mother's apartment to do some small chores for her and then take her out to late linner (late lunch/early dinner) at our favorite Asian Bistro, YUM! Looking forward to that, but not the chores
