It's wonderful. Paid to travel and go places you have never been (or only been a few times) is such an amazing thing! Today I was driving in the Allegheny Mountains of Pennsylvania and it was breathtaking. The small towns had amazingly beautiful old homes, churches, and other buildings, some of which were very well maintained, others which were not, but they were still very interesting. I didn't get the opportunity to stop to take any photos, and it was cloudy so it wouldn't have looked as beautiful in my photos as the scenery I actually saw today. But the mist coming off the mountains after the light rain today was also striking. I know in NZ that you see that stuff all the time (I saw Lord of the Rings which as you know was filmed there, just amazing scenery), it must be old hat to you!I used to travel to the west coast for work over years. I too had awesome views and got paid for it. A bonus isnt it??
