Up early to drop wifes car in the garage. Rear door wont shut. Guy from her work tied it internally to get home last night. Giggle says it's a door problem. Dropped her to work then home. Atm later and booze run.
Tea being its Friday will be takeaway.

Y'all live far more interesting lives than I do. My day today will be sawing glass discs, melting glass powder, running some spreadsheet simulations of glass melt viscosities, and learning how to play "Oh Dove" (a rather dull pop song) for a music class I'm taking.

I work in the Glass Science department at Alfred University. And I had/have close to zero background in glass science or engineering, so the learning curve is pretty steep. Keeping up with these super-smart kids is a real challenge, but it keeps my aged brain more agile.

We are going to a wedding this afternoon, my sister's youngest is marrying his lady, they have been together a while and have 2 kids, from what I understand a close member of her family is poorly so they are marrying sooner rather than later.

We have both had a very busy demanding week and need a duvet day but we agreed to go to my nephews wedding. We have already been asked to be a taxi service...nope

Social obligation- department picnic for grad students and faculty. Well, I'll bring some excellent local Riesling (2020 Forge Classique) and Chardonnay (2020 Weis Unoaked), so at least I know there will be something worth drinking.

It’s pouring down buckets right now. I wanted to trot out to the garden for some chives for my eggs, but it would probably knock the umbrella out of my hand!

Itching. I went outside a while ago to drink my morning OJ, and started talking over the fence to my neighbor. I looked down, and my legs were surrounded by mosquitos. DOH! I just slathered my legs with Benadryl gel, so the itching shouldn't last too long.

I need to get a new water filter for my fridge, and go to Kroger for a few things.

I also have a stuffed peppers contribution I'd like to make today, or at least by tomorrow. I have the ingredients, I just need the proverbial kick in the pants.
