I am stuffing mine with shrimp and a cheese mixture, then wrapping them in par-cooked bacon and baking them to finish. I have done it many times before and it's delicious!
Bacon! I was wondering how to integrate bacon into this so I can hit two challenges at once (as I write the current recipe challenge is 'bacon').
Purée some raw bacon to make a bacon paste and pipe that in!

I picked up some astonishingly good peaches at a farmstand on the way home from the department picnic. I see a bruschetta with goat cheese in my future.

I've gathered up some old towels and pillows that I'll take over to the local Humane Society

The wedding went well, nice ceremony, then a buffet and bar.
My sister got herself a bit choked because our folks were not there to see their grandson get married, plus he is her youngest so a bit of an emotional time for her.

I'm feeling utterly too lazy to make my stuffed peppers tonight after all. It's not making the dish, it's that I need to write up the recipe and I have never measured out the ingredients before. That's time consuming and takes mental acuity, which I do not really have today, LOL.

Snap. Fathers day here. Daughter bought a book about one of my fave nz authors barry Crump. In real life an a hole. His writing is funny and very entertaining. I have all his books. Even Hemingway wasn't as bad as this bloke.
Son will give me a voucher for my tab account.
I'm shouting chinese tonight o a good Chinese restaurant. Supa panda.

So far I have had 2 egg rolls and 3 crab rangoon. In a little while I will have a plate of orange chicken and pork fried rice. So good!

Dinner was stir fried long beans with garlic and red chile, then roasted corn brushed with a Tajin-based sauce. Sat outside on the back porch with my daughter and her boyfriend, sipping some adult beverages and enjoying the amazing evening weather.
Peach and chevre bruschetta is postponed until tomorrow.
