Pita dough made, first rise done, divided and balled, into the refrigerator to hold until time to cook.

After balling up the dough, heavily salted a nice rib eye, placed on a rack and in refrigerator to dry age for a few days. Think I might try using the sous vide, sear method. We'll see.

If you have not done the sous vide and sear steak before, try it. That is my favorite way to cook steak. Your experience may be different, but it is worth trying.

As not much is going on here because I am recovering again, I'll instead post my plans for November.

  • Visit the Pasar malam ( Indonesian market with street food)
  • Make a belated Halloween fondue
  • Celebrate our 4 year marriage anniversary in the hotel we booked
  • Celebrate our 4 year marriage with the high tea we planned for our friends
  • Enjoy my husbands holiday
  • Visit a Surinamese restaurant
  • Recovery
  • Study
  • Paint and make bracelets
