Everyone in our building checked out this morning. No one checked in this afternoon. I anticipate Friday that will change, but for now it's blissfully quiet other than my husband's snoring, lol.
I cooked most of them so of course they were delicious! We did go out for oysters once and they were good. They were steamed and served with cocktail sauce but I asked for lemon butter and parmesan instead. They looked at me like I was nuts, lol.
You shouldn't have to cook while away?? When I think about it I prolly would as well. Lol.
Well we had a full kitchen at our condo and were about 4 blocks from the seafood store. We had gone to a restaurant our 2nd day there, looked at the menu, and just ordered cocktails instead. Everything was expensive and didn't really sound appealing anyway. It had fine dining prices without the fine dining, lol.
Gotcha. When I was on the road i spent a lot of time on the west coast a 3 hr drive away. 1 week a month so i could tell anyone all about the coast. And restaurant etc. I drove there.
