Plans for today…were anchored just outside the harbor for Kotor, Montenegro, just finishing up breakfast. We have a tour booked to bounce around the city, then way up winding hairpin curves into the mountains, overlooking the coast, should be grand. It’s beautiful:
Unfortunately…storms are scuttling another port. They’re quickly making some required crew transfers, then we’re pushing back out to sea for a fourth consecutive day at sea.
I’m disappointed, MrsT is ready to murder someone, as this is the one tour we were both looking forward to the most.
Can’t argue with the weather, though. Apparently, it’s affecting ports all over. The captain (“Nick Nash, from jolly old England!”) said that they’ve got ships stuck in the Azores, Southampton, Hamburg, etc.
Lots of unhappy travelers this morning, I reckon, and not just here.
Onward and upward, or rather, outward and southward.
