I thought tamari was gluten free.
It usually is but Tamari isn’t readily available here.
‘Foreign food’ wise they generally have very few Mexican ingredients but they do like soy sauce. They often sell more than one brand of it but it tends to stand alone with the tomato sauce and mayonnaise!

Staying at home and cooking planned today.
A slow cooked ‘Doner Kebab’ meat with whole roasted garlic bulbs that worked well last time I was here.
Lemon and garlic drizzle for the above kebab meat.
Pork and cabbage dumpling filling.
Chicken and cashew nuts with spicy noodles.
The much wanted hot n sour soup.

But not starting for a while as Mr SSOAP has just asked me if I’d like scrambled egg on toast which I very much would 🤤

Grocery shopping this afternoon then hibernating for the rest of the weekend :rain::rain::rain::rain::rain:
I think the same thing is on the agenda here as well. Hubby is picking up the new lawnmower tomorrow. We're expecting 40-80mm of rain on top of what we're getting right now. He might be picking it up, but he won't get to use it!

Prep the pork shoulder/Boston butt we got yesterday for a Cuban roast, garlic paste rub and mojo/naranja marinade overnight.

Go through some packages delivered yesterday to make sure everything came.

Check my crochet decorations for the wreath I'm making. I forgot to put it up out of Mindy's (cat) reach last night and I got up in the middle of the night and found poinsettas, a big bow, and pinecones, plus 1 skein of yarn in the bedroom floor and down the hallway.
