Time to buy the Christmas

I got up and had a session with my personal trainer, then we headed out to buy a Christmas tree. Got the tree, came back, and straight off to the barn for a lesson. Rode the mare, then quickly stopped by the other barn to see the now-retired gelding I used to ride. He seems to be quite enjoying his new career as a pasture ornament - I groomed him and his winter coat is so fuzzy this year!
Then I came home, showered, and just waited on husband to make dinner. Tonight I might play around a little bit on my ukulele.

It was, except I didn’t get to the playing on the ukelele part - I fell asleep on the couch instead
Today’s plans include decorating the tree and watching football. Currently lying in bed with a very content kitty on my lap - I can’t get started until she moves.

Laundry, make refried beans, maybe take the trash to the dump, and for sure figure out what's in my freezer!

I think I may soon have a new car.
Last year we had the engine done. Then I replaced all 4 tyres.
This year, we've replaced the front suspension, oil pump, petrol pump, all the filters, spark plugs and leads, brake pump, petrol cap, and God only knows what else.
Yesterday, the bloody thing left my wife stranded for 2 hours, since it just closed down. Alternator.
Anyway, that meant that I could go out today, so I changed all the plans I never made and did some serious, deep earth weeding on the front garden.
Now I'm going to make a broccoli, anchovy, garlic and peperoncini pasta and watch some football on TV.

Our xmas tree is up. My suggestion to wife earlier let's do cemetery early ( normally boxing day). So were off at 2 o clock to do that . Her mum, my mum my nan and my geat grandparents whom I remember fondly. My side are altogether. Family plot my great grandfather bought at his church. I'm not going there. I'm.. being cremated.

Took the day off to go to the grocery store in order to procure the standing rib roast for Christmas Day. That’s how I roll.
An unexpected dinner tomorrow night, so I have to go shopping for groceries and start preparing some food.
Complicated, as usual, by the fact that the alternator on the car is on the blink and currently being repaired...
