Plans for today (2025)

I am also in the middle of some crappy customer service.
I ordered 8 pasta plates, four are one size and four are another.
The difference is small but it’s clear because they don’t stack nicely, have slightly different weights and diameters.
They don’t seem to believe me.
The opening line of the email just said send pictures and they’ll get back to me. Then an automated email saying they’ll respond in 2-4 days.

If it was Ikea or some other inexpensive outfit I wouldn’t be bothering but it’s Royal Worcester so I expect some quality control for the price involved.

Okay, I got the refund handled. The plexiglass was cracked but they are allowing us to keep the frame, so all I need to do is find a new piece of acrylic/plexiglass/whatever to fit the frame.

Lowes used to do that way back when I built my dehydrator. Might check.

I already had, and they want $38 for a 18 x 24 inch piece. I am looking elsewhere but I got involved in something in the kitchen...dang squirrels!

I'm finding it's probably going to be cheaper to buy a cheap poster frame of the same size and using the acrylic sheeting that's in it. Walmart has one for about $8 in stock.

Today’s Whimsy Wednesday menu is crispy bits, chicken wings, onion rings, tempura chicken, calamari and Leon waffle fries. All the best most nutritious beigey orangey food a coeliac could want.
All will be cooked to the point of having just the right amount of acrylamide 😂

Also making the Rillette and going to the shops to pick up little jars to put the rillette in because apparently it freezes very well.

I bet it freezes well since the fat keeps it from drying out!
