Plans for today (2025)

Homemade French bread pizza or Stouffer's?
Semi-homemade (just call me Sandra Lee*) - a par-baked loaf from the store that I found in my freezer, jarred sauce (😮), and cheese, probably with olives and banana peppers or something like that on there.

*Would you believe?…she’s just six days older than I am - we’re virtually twins!

I think that's an excellent idea and one I have done before. I would add some pepperoni, too, but that's just me.

And yes, I saw your senior photo in the "Way we were" thread, and you do look alike!

I'd planned to go to the bank and make a withdrawal so we can start fixing the car, but...
the electricity was out in the bank. Now I have to find another branch to withdraw the money from, get yet another taxi and see if we can get moving...
Still - went to the supermarket for dog food, bread, veggies, pasta, so we're not going to starve!

Yesterday was the last day of Mr SSOAP’s birthday week which is good because the engines cannae take it captain 😂

But celebrations are always rounded off with a chinese takeaway. It’s a good twenty minutes away but it’s well worth the drive for genuinely good gluten free chinese food. So that’s my plan, recoup and refuel 😋

I’ve even put the plates in the warmer 3 hours ahead of schedule, that’s how much I LOVE this Chinese restaurant 😆

I recall at a meeting in one of my facilities units the Gen. Mgr. was, and understandably so, worried about the timeline to bring our 3 Million BTU water heaters online to heat the pools. I told him, we're in the weekly meeting, the dilithium crystals were ordered overnight and would be here in 48 hours costing $3000 in shipping. I didn't blink... He was relieved and most in the office were holding back tears!!!

I had repaired the next day; that whole under promise over delivery thing...

🤣

Have you prepped the usually cool bag yet? A hot wheat bag (or rice or lavender) will keep the food warmer on the way home.

Just cleaned out some (small) cupboard with electrical appliances and put them back with the correct parts.
For some reason I have multiple food processors, 2 medium size, a smaller moulinex and a kitchenaid blender.
Plus a stick blender with extra accessoiries (double set of accessories actually as 1 stick blender burned out and got replaced with the same set), and a hand mixer :scratchhead:

Going out to work shortly for a couple of hours. I managed to schedule all my stuff for today in the same direction to avoid making multiple trips on different days. Nevermind that it's 33F out today, brrrr. It was almost 60F a few days ago!
