My teeth hurt looking at this. Not my thing at all but it's a winner in the sweet and syrupy breakfast category.

Even for me with a sweet tooth, that's too much maple syrup. I'm just ignore the butter.

Where's the fruit?

We had pancakes today also. Mine were much smaller, and no syrup. I made a slightly sweet mixed berry compote to top the "stack" (2 pancakes each) and about 2 TBSP of honey on top of the compote (not even enough for it to drip off the edges of the top pancake). Maybe 1 tsp of butter that was melted on each pancake just before removing from the pan...

SatNavSaysStraightOn you don't use a little vegan butter on your pancakes?

I’ll take it!

And, as usual, I’ve done some research and found the original lyrics to John Mellencamp’s “Hurt So Good:”

Hurt so good
Made my pancakes as sweet as I could
My teeth are throbbing like I knew they would
It makes them hurt so good

I made a JAS signature overstuffed American style omelet with bacon, peppers, onions, mushrooms, spinach, goat cheese, cheddar cheese, and American cheese. It looked like the others I have posted in the past, although it did break a little when I folded over the top (9-10 times it doesn't). It was yummy as usual. Before the omelet I had 1 cup of black tea with cinnamon and honey, then 1 cup of coffee with vanilla caramel creamer, and then I ate 1/3 of the omelet (DH had the other 2/3rds). Now I am having another cup of coffee because I feel like I am going to fall asleep. I hope this doesn't mess with me later. I don't normally have caffeine this late.
