That's pretty funny. In other words, McD's breakfast burritos are not really burritos...
They’re really not that good, but the only thing I can tolerate from McD’s breakfast menu. Only option this morning.

I used to like their egg McMuffins, are they not good anymore? I haven't eaten one in 30 years other than the copycat ones I make at home, which are quite delicious.

My grand-daughter (2 and 1/2 years old) loves their pancakes.

I’ve never eaten one, so I suppose they could be, but I doubt it.
If you never have eaten one, you might want to give it a try. I can't imagine that they don't make them anymore. That's the only food they made that I liked. I think BK has better fries. And I hated McD's burgers, especially that Big Mac.

Today I made scrambled eggs with cheese and bacon in warm flour tortillas. I would call it a breakfast taco/burrito but I didn't add any hot sauce, salsa, or anything remotely Mexican to them. One thing I have been doing lately that makes them especially awesome is adding a dollop of sour cream and a few tablespoons of heavy cream to the bowl (4 eggs) before scrambling (and salt and pepper of course), then melting the cheese (American and cheddar) into the eggs while they were cooking (in butter). The eggs were super light, fluffy, and delicious. No pics, devoured too quickly. I ate one, hubby had two.
I always cook my cheeses in the cooking scrambled eggs, also cooked in butter.

CD
Yes, me too, but I have seen lots of people who made breakfast burritos and added the shredded cheese when compiling the burrito, not before while cooking the eggs. But it's the sour cream and heavy cream that make the eggs so tender, light, and fluffy.

Day Five in the hotel - Breakfast

I woke up at 430am and just could not fall back asleep (I'm a very good sleeper by the way).
I had set my alarm to get up to go get some free breakfast in the hotel dining room and bring it back to our room for later.
Not terrible, not great either, but it's included in our room rate, why not.
A little Salsa can help even scrambled to death Eggs :whistling:🎶

Back when I lived in Florida, I visited Waffle House regularly. We called it the "Awful Waffle House" even though it was quite good, actually. I really liked going there at 4 a.m. after we left the bars (in my early 20s) for scrambled cheesy eggs, toast, and scattered hash browns (none of that smothered stuff for me). I never ate a waffle there, LOL!

Did it make up for it?
Yeah, since the power was out for just a couple of hours. :)

It was a rather long, painful breakfast, as they were woefully understaffed, so even though there were two booths open when we arrived, we waited…and waited…and waited…and waited some more until someone was able to clean one off.

Also, the service was just as slow, and MrsT got, and nearly finished, her eggs and potatoes before my waffle and bacon came out, she brought water but no straws, brought my waffle, but no syrup, etc.

Very unusual for WH, as quick service is one of their hallmarks, but it was a busy Sunday morning and there were exactly…three people working.

I think every restaurant these days is required to have two signs up. One says, “Please be patient with our employees, as we’re critically short-staffed at this time,” and another one that says, “WE’RE HIRING!!!”

Yeah, that's nuts! I think I used to get my eggs within 20 minutes or so of ordering and they never skipped a beat, no missing items, etc.
