Yeah, since the power was out for just a couple of hours.
It was a rather long, painful breakfast, as they were woefully understaffed, so even though there were two booths open when we arrived, we waited…and waited…and waited…and waited some more until someone was able to clean one off.
Also, the service was just as slow, and MrsT got, and nearly finished, her eggs and potatoes before my waffle and bacon came out, she brought water but no straws, brought my waffle, but no syrup, etc.
Very unusual for WH, as quick service is one of their hallmarks, but it was a busy Sunday morning and there were exactly…three people working.
I think every restaurant these days is required to have two signs up. One says, “Please be patient with our employees, as we’re critically short-staffed at this time,” and another one that says, “WE’RE HIRING!!!”
