One of the few breakfast cereals I 'sort of' like - mainly because of the absence of sugar:

We have those here, shredded wheat? But they managed to add sugar to some of it to appeal more to kids (and actually some adults who are conditioned to eat sugary cereal).

My issue is with milk. I can do cereal with plant-based milks but I don't eat cereal often enough to use up all the milk before it goes bad, unfortunately.

That’s one of my favorites, with a handful of raisins tossed in and heated just a bit in the microwave to take the cold edge off, and then left to sit for several minutes so the little wheat biscuits can soak up the milk.

Interesting history between CW Post and what's his name Mills. Was an advertising battle over markets for foodstuffs that were generally being thrown away.

Tidbit: Did you know that Kingsford, like the charcoal, was in cahoots with Henry Ford? Back when the dashboards were made of wood Ford would sell the bits to Kingsford who made the charcoal and they made money on  ALL of it.

I gave that an apple because it's interesting information, but maybe not useful to everyone, LOL.

I really enjoy watching those programs that discuss companies that formed in early America and their founders.

Arepa filled with an egg salad mixture and a couple of slices of smoked turkey ham.
First time I've made arepas for about 10 years, but today, that's what I wanted for breakfast!
