The CookingBites Recipe Challenge: Nov 2015-June 2017

If memory serves me right, you've only tried one! And that you finished with a spoon.

I can't say I've ever had one (definitely not a green one!). Is it like a milkshake? I've had plenty of those.

My favourite way of using sprouts is in Bubble and Squeak, which is a traditional British way of using up left overs. In this case you mix cooked sprouts with cooked mashed potato, form them into patties, fry them on both sides until brown and crisp, ensuring that the soft centre is heated through. Delicious as an accompaniment with most dishes.

That's it really! The only thing I would add to this would be to fry it in the fat drained from your roast meat especially the Christmas turkey fat. Otherwise, as it's way of using up left over vegetables, you use whatever you have.

You could win the Challenge with this. But you have to post it as a Recipe. That means going to the relevant forum, in this case Vegetables, Salads and Mushrooms and posting it as a new thread. Use the drop down Prefix box to choose Recipe. Type in the title of the recipe. List the Ingredients and Method.
Easy!
